I'm back on home turf, and am ready to spend the next day or so with my computer, sewing machine, and numerous cups of tea; catching up with emails, and getting some long-awaited sewing in... x

Charlotte graduated in Contemporary Textile Practice BA (hons) in 2006. She worked as a freelance designer, as well as producing one-off embroidered illustrations for exhibitions and galleries around the UK, and working for an independent textile magazine in London. Following demand for more of her work, Charlotte headed back to the countryside where she grew up, launching Charlotte Macey Textiles in May 2010. The Cotswolds have provided the perfect home to produce a range of classic homewares featuring her quirky and unique embroidered illustrations.
