Selvedge Spring Fair

Two trips to London in two weeks and lots of work to attempt to keep up with inbetween has left me a pretty tired girl, so here are a few snaps from the Selvedge Spring Fair yesterday, and I'm off to put my feet up!

A lovely day and thanks to High Tea of Highgate for warming
Earl Grey and delicious gluten-free cupcakes.

Wonderful stalls and stallholders at the fair...

My favourite stall of the day... Beyond France. One day half my house will look like this, beautiful linens, and great company too, thanks Maud!

"The Sunday Post"

Well, what a busy week! With trade orders still coming in for Christmas stock I've been making lots of pudding-related items, and painting lots and lots of gold spots. However I also managed to squeeze in making a new item, my wine glasses cotton shopper... the cupcakes cotton shopper has always been a customer favourite, and with my 'wine glasses' design going down so well on other items, I thought it was about time the design made its way onto a lovely natural cotton shopper! I'm really pleased with the results, and think they will make great Christmas pressies too.

For those of you wondering how progress is going with the trunk, I must admit I haven't achieved a lot on that front this week... however I'm planning to spare a few hours in the coming week, so fingers crossed I will have a trunk update very soon!
In the meantime, I hope you all have a great week x

"The Sunday Post" - Stroud International Textile Festival '10

Yesterday I visited the opening of Stroud International Textile Festival 2010. My goodies are for sale in the Made In Stroud shop in Stroud town centre, and were arranged wonderfully by the lovely Clare. So I took a few snaps of my Charlotte Macey Textiles wares in the shop. If you are in the area do pop in, there is lovely work to see and buy, and an excellent exhibition of textile work in the Subscription Rooms, across the road from Made In Stroud. I hope you are all having a good Bank Holiday weekend, and are not too soggy from all this lovely Bank Holiday rain ;)
